British Basketball secures a game against one of the world's top teams in the run up to the EuroBasket 2017 Finals
He is an experienced sports administrator, both within basketball and professional football in Scotland. He has been a director of basketballscotland for four years, and their Vice Chairman for the last year. Andrew led a comprehensive policy review of the governance of basketballscotland in 2015. He has also been proactive in developing stronger relationships with a number of key stakeholders, including National League clubs.
Professionally, Andrew is Public Transport Manager for Perth & Kinross Council, with a wide ranging remit for the planning, procurement and management of public transport services across the region. He is an innovative leader, with a strong record of achievement in local government, especially in terms of co-ordination and financial management. Andrew has also played a central role in delivering the transport elements of a number of successful national events, including the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles - for which the team won 'Transport Partnership of the Year'.
Passionate about the development of basketball, Andrew now channels his energies off court, although he is still an enthusiastic game day supporter
