6'7 forward Ashley Hamilton is settling into life at Italian side Reggio Calabria after his mid-season move from Ravenna. Hamilton, formerly of Loyola Marymount, produced a game-high 19 pts as well as 9 rebounds, 1 assist and 5 steals against his former employers in a 70-62 win to lift Calabria's record to 5 and 8 in Lega Due Silver. It's the fourth time in his eight games for Calabria in which Hamilton has produced double digit points.
In Germany, Ali Fraser's Gotha Rockets pushed second-placed Jena all the way in the ProA league, eventually losing out 101-103. The 6'7" Scottish forward produced 5 from 6 inside the arc to finish with 14 points.
In the NCAA, Will Neighbour continues to have a fine senior season with Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans. The 6'10 Surrey forward netted 12 points and produced 10 rebounds and 4 assists in a 60-74 defeat to the University of Southern Mississippi. Neighbour is the Trojans' current team leader in points and rebounds (16.7PPG, 53.6% FG%, 7.2 RPG).
Meanwhile, Ovie Soko hit 20+ points for the second successive game as Duquesne beat Massachusetts-Lowell 95-77 to take the college's record to 5 and 5. Soko netted 22 points and was 9 from 14 from the floor, part of a team performance in which the Dukes shot 62.3% in all. The Londoner also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
