The 6'4 forward has been a key member of the Great Britain senior women's team in recent years and will be part of an 11-woman roster named by head coach Cheryl Reeve, hoping to add to the three WNBA titles already claimed.
Fagbenle impressed in two pre-season games for the Lynx, earning 8 points and 3 rebounds against Washington in a 74-59 victory. But this was preceded by 10 points and 4 rebounds in a blow-out 113-67 win over Atlanta Dream.
The season begins on Sunday with a home opener against Chicago Sky.
