As one of the Olympic team sports left out of UK Sport's calculations, British Basketball joins together with British Handball and British Volleyball to express its dismay about the UK Sport funding decisions for the Tokyo quadrennial.
The British Basketball Federation (BBF) and the British Basketball League (BBL) have agreed the Heads of Terms for a new 10 year License for the BBL to continue to run the top professional men's basketball league in Great Britain, at the expiry of the current License in summer 2017.

February 06th, 2017: British Basketball has secured £1,000,000 of National Lottery funding, from Sport England, to support the delivery of its programmes this year, including its campaign at EuroBasket 2017. The funding will help ensure the Great Britain team receives the preparation it needs, when it competes at EuroBasket 2017 and will provide vital support for other programmes over the 2017-18 funding period.
