International Career:

A graduate of England Basketball’s junior national team programmes, Busch represented England in the European Championships at Under-16 and Under-18 level, progressing on to represent Great Britain’s Under-20 side in 2011 and 2012.

 

Club career:

University of Pennsylvania (2011- ), Sevenoaks Suns (2007-11)

Busch began her playing career at Sevenoaks Suns at Under-16 level, helping the club to both Under-16 and Under-18 EBL national league titles, as well as two National Cups and the 2007 National Trophy. She attended the University of Pennsylvania in 2011, starting 19 out of 28 games and recording a season-high 20 points, eight rebounds, six made field goals, four made free throws and four assists in a win over Columbia. She also won Penn's 2011-12 Most Dedicated Player award. In 2012-13, she featured in all but two of the team’s games.

Personal:

The daughter of May Chien Busch and Len Busch, her father is also a basketball coach. She has two sisters, the younger of whom, Natalie, plays for England’s junior national team. She attended The American School in Surrey (TASIS) prior to going to the United States. Her favourite actors are Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Denzel Washington.

 

Trivia:

Post-basketball, Busch would like a career in advertising.
