Nate Reinking - Assistant Coach

From: Ohio (USA)

Great Britain's most-capped international before he retired from playing following the 2012 Olympic Games, Nate Reinking maintains his link with the national team after being appointed as an assistant coach, his first bench job of his career.

A member of the Great Britain programme at its inception in 2006, he previously won 4 caps for England. He made 65 GB appearances in total, his last coming against China in August 2012.

A shooting guard renowned for his three-point threat and his fitness regime, he started his professional career in the British Basketball League in 1996 and ended it in his adopted home country after returning to Sheffield Sharks. During his initial stint in the BBL, he won two league titles, two Cups and a play-off crown, all with Sheffield, as well as making four All Star appearances.

He then spent five seasons in Belgium, playing both in domestic and European competition, and was a member of the Mons side which reached the 2008 FIBA EuroCup final, as well as winning the 2006 Belgian Cup. He returned to the BBL in 2010 with Mersey Tigers, helping the Liverpool club to a treble of league, Trophy and play-off titles.

Originally from Upper Sandusky in Ohio, USA. He has a Masters in Sports and Exercise Science from Sheffield Hallam University and a Bachelor's Degree from Kent University in Ohio.
